On the morning of our 3rd wedding anniversary, Sarah and I hiked to Eagle Lake which, outside of Hawaii, has got to be the most beautiful spot I’ve ever been. We had no idea what we were getting into… just saw lots of cars parked by the road and like good little lemmings we thought we’d check it out. Boy am I glad we did. The hike was well curated, despite a short lapse in decent trailer markers, and probably wasn’t more than 3 miles round trip. It was a great way to start the day.
