State License Plates: 20/50
We left at 9:30 and landed in Morro Bay around 5:30. LA traffic (and a stop over in Santa Barbara for lunch) will do that to you. That should be the worst of it for this trip. Sarah booked us a night at a bed and breakfast through AirBnb. The place is run by a woman and a dog, both old and friendly. We got the “nautical room” – it’s exactly what it sounds like. We walked around the little town here, reminds me of Chincoteague. Sea lions, otters, dogs, seafood and a South Dakota plate! Sarah requires chowder in a bread bowl. I am in full support. Breakfast is at 9:00 and then we hit the road for Big Sur and Monterey.
