State Plates: 33/50
Today we hit 3 wineries, all of which were amazing in sight and taste. I’m going to post a few sets of pictures for each because I need more than 10 photos (the post limit here) to get the point across.
This first one, Castello di Amorosa, is a replica castle, built over the span of 30 years, 16 years to acquire the materials from overseas and 14 years to assemble them by hand using authentic castle building techniques. There are over 50 million hand-hewn bricks, tiles and stones in the mix. Color me impressed.
It has a working drawbridge, a moat and a few guard kitties. The moat and the bridge seem to be shouldering the majority of the security detail.
