We didn’t see a ton of interesting stuff on today’s drive, so I’ll just post some photos from the place we’re staying tonight. It’s called the Heritage House.
The grounds have a whole bunch of different lodges almost built right into a cliff side. At times the property feels faintly like a Japanese garden, with a touch of otherworldly, almost Suessian plants sprinkled here and there. It’s a really unique setting. I’m told they roast smores at 7:00, so, gotta go 🙂
We took the ferry over to one of the nearby islands on our last day, walked around a bunch and did some kayaking. The ferry holds 200 cars and something like a thousand people. Apparently Read more…
