Photographing the redwoods is a fool’s errand if ever there was one. Here are a bunch of pictures we took of the redwoods.
Some of these are over a thousand years old and stand more than 300 feet tall. In person they don’t look real. Or maybe they’re just so big your brain plays tricks on you, convincing you they can’t be. It’s hard to say what the best part of the trip was, especially considering we’ve got a week to go, but there’s no doubt these giants are up there (no pun intended).
