I turned 40 shortly before this trip and Sarah very thoughtfully booked a round of golf in Hawaii as a birthday present. Well played, wife.
She doesn’t golf, but it’s Hawaii so she was happy to ride along in the cart with me and drink umbrella drinks. This was probably one of the most fun experiences of my life. We got paired up with a father/son combo and another single who were all super nice. We had a blast.
I would have been happy with any score, but I shot an 86 which is especially good considering it was a new course with more than a few blind shots. And even the straight shots can be tough when you’re trying to keep your eyes off the scenery and on the ball. 🏌️♂️
